Midori Takasaki

Midori joins King Philanthropies as a Principal working across grants and impact investments.

Midori previously worked at the United Nations, in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General. Before the UN, Midori worked at BlackRock focusing on ESG investing and climate policy analysis. She began her career at Goldman Sachs, where she first supported the management of the company’s liquidity, funding, capital, and allocation of financing. Midori combines her financial experience with a passion for global affairs and international development.

Midori received her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business with a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation, her Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School, and a B.A. from Harvard College.
