Kate is an Associate at King Philanthropies, primarily working on grant sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management at the intersection of climate and livelihoods.

Previously, she worked in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Policy, focusing on climate adaptation and resilience. Prior to the EPA, Kate conducted climate mitigation and adaptation research and analysis at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law, the Stimson Center’s Environmental Security Program, and the State Department’s Bureaus of Conflict and Stabilization Operations and International Organization Affairs.

Kate received her Master’s in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge and her B.A. in Political Science, Public Policy, and Human Rights from the University of California, Berkeley.
